Terms of Service

Effective date: October 20, 2026

These terms cover your use of dmndave.co and any custom project you start with DMND Ave. By using the site or starting a project, you agree to them.

Business name: DMND Ave. We are a fully remote studio. Contact: hello@dmndave.co

How a custom project works

  • Inquiry and video consult. We start with an inquiry and a remote video consult to talk through your design, diamond, budget, and timeline.

  • Project minimum. Custom projects start at $3,000.

  • Deposit. A 50% deposit is required to begin your project.

  • Diamond sourcing. We begin sourcing your diamond or gemstones after your deposit is received. You approve the stone before we move forward.

  • CAD design and approval. We create a CAD (3D) design of your piece. Production starts only after you approve the CAD.

  • Production. Production typically takes about 4–6 weeks from deposit to finished ring. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. Stone availability, design changes, and approval timing can affect it. If you have a proposal date in mind, tell us early.

  • Final payment. The remaining balance is due after we send you the final videos of your finished piece and you approve them, before it ships.

  • Shipping. We ship with insured FedEx, and a signature is required at delivery. Shipping is on us for all US orders.

International clients

We work with clients worldwide. International shipping costs vary by destination. Customers pay international shipping, duties, and taxes. We confirm these costs with you upfront, before you commit to the order.

Deposits, refunds, and cancellations

Your deposit is refundable if you cancel before your diamond is selected. After that, it is non-refundable, except where applicable law requires otherwise. Because every piece is made to order, finished custom pieces can't be returned.

Resizing

If you're in the US, your first resize is free. Email hello@dmndave.co and we'll email you a prepaid FedEx label so you can ship your ring back to us. International clients don't get a free resize. After the first resize, you cover shipping.

Warranty

We take great pride in our work and want you to be completely satisfied with your jewelry for years to come. We offer a manufacturer’s warranty on all our pieces. Normal wear and tear of jewelry pieces may require necessary repairs from time to time. Our one-year limited warranty covers all manufacturing defects. It does not cover normal wear or accidental damage. Center stones are excluded from this limited warranty. These exclusions do not limit rights or remedies provided by applicable law. We will inspect each piece and determine if it is a manufacturing error or if the wearer may be at fault. For example, if a diamond on the band is missing but we see that the prong has been damaged or lifted, that would indicate that the wearer had damaged the ring and therefore would be responsible for the repair costs. For repairs, or anything after your first resize, you (the client) pay the shipping. For US clients, the first resize is free, and we send you a prepaid FedEx label for it. International clients don't get a free resize. We strongly suggest that all of our clients insure their diamond rings, as this would help with the cost of repairs or replacements. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

Diamond warranty: We strongly encourage you to insure your jewelry. We replace side stones measuring 2mm or less free of charge during the first six months, unless the loss or damage results from damage to the ring. Should there be damage to the piece (missing prong, etc), we will replace the diamonds at cost to the client. Any side stone replacement after the 6 months will come with a fee.

Cleaning & inspections: We recommend a local jeweler for routine cleaning and prong inspections. If you'd rather send it to us, we're happy to clean and inspect it at no charge. You cover shipping both ways.

Warranty void: Routine cleaning or a prong inspection by another jeweler does not void this warranty. Damage caused by another jeweler's work is not covered; unrelated manufacturing-defect coverage remains in effect.

Diamonds, materials, and descriptions

We describe stones and materials as accurately as we can, including lab-grown versus natural diamonds and grading reports where provided. Photos and CAD renderings are close representations. Small variations from the final handmade piece are normal.
